Gamewell-FCI Introduces the E3 Emergency Evacuation System

WESTWOOD, Mass. – Gamewell-FCI is a performance and technology leader in the emergency evacuation systems industry for commercial, industrial and educational applications worldwide. Gamewell-FCI’s new E3 expandable system is the latest in emergency evacuation technology. The E3’s capabilities extend beyond basic fire protection, as the system is proficient in emergency mass notification and evacuation as well.

The E3 Series is a highly versatile product can be configured from a small analog panel, to a networked Broadband voice and audio solution. With an entire system consisting of multi-functional modules, the E3 is easy to configure and install, and offers incredible cost-effective solutions to a wide range of applications.

A peer-to-peer network operating at 625K Baud, the E3 can be arranged as Style 4 or Style 7 using two conductor unshielded wire or fiber cables. The network riser includes paging, firefighter telephones, and input/output capabilities.

The E3 incorporates a broad range of existing components, and boasts improvements on existing technology with the addition of intelligent loop interface modules, which can store 8 MB of memory. Additionally, the E3 has added repeaters that work with fiber optics or unshielded twisted pair, and a new network display that can support up to 40 characters.
