Northford, CT - Gamewell-FCI, part of Honeywell Fire Systems and a leading manufacturer of fire alarm and emergency evacuation systems for commercial and industrial facilities worldwide, announces FocalPoint - a centralized monitoring solution for campus-like facilities containing multiple Gamewell-FCI fire alarm control panels (FACP). Properties similar to hospitals, school campuses and industrial facilities now have the ability to easily monitor multiple Gamewell-FCI FACPs of varied age and sophistication from one (or more) centrally located workstation(s).

FocalPoint seamlessly integrates information from the large majority of Gamewell-FCI’s sizeable portfolio of FACPs, allowing users access to detailed diagrams of the protected facility. Should a device such as a smoke detector or pull station go into alarm, a full view of the effected area is provided along with written incident reports. In complex or multiple building settings, FocalPoint can quickly pinpoint the location of the detected incident, enabling first responders to find the exact location of the alarm faster. Furthermore, FocalPoint provides a thorough history log in which users can track and search previous incidents.

The FocalPoint system can be easily configured with custom site-specific graphics and connected to a network of FACPs. As new structures and fire alarm system components are added, the FocalPoint graphics system can certainly be configured to reflect those additions. And with multiple users in-mind, FocalPoint’s intuitive graphic workstation makes it easy to understand and operate.
